What Echora costs
Last updated 25 October 2026
Echora is free to join. We earn only when your work earns through Echora. If you do not get paid, we do not either.
If you own the work
- Registering works, uploading a catalog and setting your AI rules cost nothing.
- When an AI company licenses a work through Echora, Echora takes a percentage of that license, taken after card fees. The rest is paid to the people who own the work.
- Your agreed rate and every fee are shown on your Statements page, alongside what you earned, before you confirm a payout. Nothing is taken before a license is paid for.
If your rate is 30% and a license pays $10 after card fees, Echora keeps $3 and you receive $7.
If you build with AI
- The price of a license is set by the rights holder on each work, so you see it before you confirm the license.
- One API checks permissions on rights-cleared catalogs before you generate, records attribution after, and can request licenses too.
- Credit reports cost you nothing extra.
- How an AI company uses Echora walks through the four steps, from the cleared catalog to the report.
- Work with us through a pilot. Write to hello@echora.ai.
